32-stimmige Klangwunder aus dem Salzburger Dom. Barocke Highlights: Konzert mit vielstimmigen Werken Heinrich Ignaz Franz Bibers und Benedict Anton Aufschnaiters, gespielt von Gunar Letzbor und Ars Antiqua Austria. Seine Vesperae à 32 komponierte Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber 1674 für den Salzburger Erzbischof. Ein achtstimmiger Doppelchor, zwei Zinken, drei Posaunen, vier Trompeten, Pauken, Streicher, zwei Orgeln und Basso continuo: Mit dieser üppigen Besetzung verspricht Bibers Vesperae ein einzigartiges Hörerlebnis barocker Klangpracht. Nicht weniger eindrucksvoll ist das Werk von Benedict Anton Aufschnaiter, der gut ein halbes Jahrhundert nach Biber seine zwölfstimmige Missa Sic Placuit komponierte. Lange Zeit galt diese in zeitgenössischen Quellen hochgelobte Komposition als verloren, ehe Gunar Letzbor das Stimmenmaterial im Stift Lambach entdeckte und im Brucknerhaus nun die moderne Erstaufführung dieses verschollen geglaubten Meisterwerks leiten wird!

Wyat E. is a belgian drone/doom metal band. In 2015, their debut EP Mount Sinai/Aswan caught the eye of Shalosh Cult, a Jerusalem-based label which released their critically acclaimed debut album Exile to Beyn Neharot in 2017. In 2022, their second full-length record “āl bēlūti dārû” (“The Eternal City” in Akkadian language) marks the rise of the band on the doom scene. Mixed by the godfather of doom Billy Anderson (Sleep, Om, Melvins,...), the album led them to a 95-concert tour across Europe and the Middle East. They played at notable events such as Roadburn Mystic Festival, DesertFest London, ArcTanGent, DesertFest Belgium, Dunajam, Stoned From The Underground, Red Smoke Festival, A Colossal Weekend, Rock in Bourlon, Dour Festival, Fusion Festival, Stick & Stone, Astral Festival Bristol, Black Earth Festival and many more. In 2023, the group composed for the motion picture soundtrack Bowling Saturne and released Roadburn-commissioned live-collaboration with the English band Five The Hierophant and singer Tomer Damsky under the name Atonia. The concept of liminal space itself is a not necessarily pleasant state of mind where you left behind your old life, but new doors haven’t exactly opened just yet. As Makó states ’The process my first three records pieced together ended, that was no path for me to take anymore, but to take a step forward I had to make decisions I wasn’t inspired enough to make.’ – and from this frustrated, sort of paralyzed state of floating, a new incarnation of The Devil’s Trade was born and so was ‘Vidékek vannak idebenn’ along with it. While still true to his solo artist roots, delivering gut-wrenching melodies of darkness and beauty on his own, Makó needed an expansion to his universe. Japanese cult Heavy Metal heroes METALUCIFER are coming back to Europe to celebrate 30th anniversary of the band. The band was originally formed in 1995 as a side project of Gezol, vocalist and bassist of the legendary Japanese black metal act SABBAT, but quickly turned into regular act with legions of loyal fans worldwide. METALUCIFER will be joined on this tour by INTRANCED, young Heavy Metal band from the US (feat. ex members of WHITE WIZZARD and HOLY GRAIL), which recently debuted with the "Muerte Y Metal" longplay on High Roller Records.

Das Instrument, an dem Anton Bruckner während seiner Tätigkeit als Domorganist dreizehn Jahre lang wirkte, befindet sich heute noch im Originalzustand.
